back when i went to see Dream Theater live, i recorded all John Myung's bass solos, extract from Panic attack

The Divine Wings Of Tragedy is a masterpice btw, from start to finish. The opening chorus envelops you, four voices. then it shifts into a riff reminiscent of Star wars march or Dream theater's Overture 1928, followed by that piano intro at 3.30 which i think is a great riff despite its length. That piano gives way to a synth solo that in my opinion is one of the best, if not the best synth solos in the song. Afterward, we enter a quiet passage, a clean guitar with a great bass in the back. Another part i want to highlight is the bass section from 12.36 onwards, which i learned by heart on my bass as well as the guitar and synth sequence at 15.55 in my guitar, i learned it after it brought tears to my eyes. The rest is pure emotion, great outro.
